MythFall Combat Guide
MythFall describes its combat as skill-based. The official controls support that description with separate inputs for basic and heavy attacks, rushing, blocking, parrying, dodging, and lock-on.

A Practical Training Order
1. Learn basic reach
Use M1 attacks against a predictable target. Learn how close you need to be and how movement affects your attack direction.
2. Add heavy attacks
Use R after you understand basic timing. A heavy attack should be treated as a deliberate option, not a replacement for every normal attack.
3. Separate block from parry
Hold F to recognize the block state. Then practice tapping F against a readable attack. Because the official listing does not publish frame data, exact parry windows should be tested in the current live build rather than copied from an old video.
4. Practice dodge and rush movement
Use Q to create or cross space. Double-tap W to test rush attacks. Learn both without lock-on, then repeat with Tab enabled.
Boss Preparation
The official description confirms handcrafted bosses but does not publish boss names, phases, statistics, or drop tables. Prepare using fundamentals that remain useful across encounters:
- Watch an attack before committing to a long string.
- Keep a defensive input available.
- Use lock-on only when it improves camera control.
- Reposition instead of attacking through every animation.
- Recheck encounter behavior after updates.
Build Context
Weapons, magic, and fighting styles are all named combat systems. This guide does not rank them because no complete, version-matched official balance data was available during this update.
